Climate modeling

Climate modeling refers to the use of mathematical models to simulate and predict the behavior of the Earth's climate system, taking into account factors such as Atmospheric circulation, Ocean currents, and Solar radiation. These models are used to understand the dynamics of the climate system, including the interactions between the Atmosphere, Oceans, and Land surfaces. Climate models are also used to predict future climate change, including the impacts of Greenhouse gases and other human activities on the climate system. The development of climate models involves the use of Computational fluid dynamics, Numerical methods, and Data assimilation techniques. Researchers such as James Hansen have made significant contributions to the development of climate models.
