Conformal mapping
Conformal mapping is a mathematical technique used to transform a complex shape into another while preserving its angles, making it a crucial tool in various fields such as Geometry, Cartography, and Physics. This technique is based on the concept of Differentiable functions and is closely related to Complex analysis. Conformal mappings are used to solve problems in Land measurement, Plane geometry, and even in the study of Turbulence in Fluid dynamics. The concept of conformal mapping was extensively studied by mathematicians such as Carl Friedrich Gauss and Leonardo Fibonacci. Conformal mappings have numerous applications, including transforming Ellipses and Cone (traffic) shapes, and are essential in understanding Curvature and Spin (physics).
