Cultural Anthropology

Cultural anthropology is the study of human cultures, behaviors, and societies, past and present, with a focus on understanding the diversity of human experiences and the ways in which people create meaning and organize their lives. It is a subfield of Anthropology that explores the complex and nuanced ways in which culture shapes human identity, social relationships, and institutions. Cultural anthropologists use a range of methods, including Ethnography, Participant observation, and Interviews, to gather data and gain insight into the lives of people in different cultural contexts. They also draw on theories and concepts from Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy to analyze and interpret their findings. The work of cultural anthropologists has been influenced by scholars such as Claude Lévi-Strauss and Clifford Geertz, and has applications in fields such as International cooperation, Resource management (environmental), and Culinary herbs.
