Dijkstra's algorithm

Dijkstra's algorithm is a well-known algorithm in Graph theory for finding the shortest paths between nodes in a graph, developed by Edsger W. Dijkstra. It works by maintaining a list of unvisited nodes and iteratively selecting the node with the shortest distance, updating the distances to its neighbors, and marking it as visited. This process continues until all nodes have been visited, resulting in a tree of shortest paths. The algorithm has numerous applications in Computer science, including Network routing, Traffic optimization, and Scheduling. It is often used in conjunction with other algorithms, such as Bellman-Ford algorithm and A* algorithm, to solve complex problems. Dijkstra's algorithm is a fundamental concept in Algorithm Complexity and is widely used in many fields, including Operations research and Artificial intelligence.
