Dirac notation
Dirac notation is a mathematical notation used to describe Quantum states and Linear operators in Quantum mechanics. It was introduced by the physicist Paul Dirac and is widely used in Physics and Mathematics. The notation is based on the concept of Bra-ket notation, where a quantum state is represented by a Ket vector and its dual is represented by a Bra vector. This notation is useful for describing the properties of quantum systems, such as Superposition and Entanglement. Dirac notation is also closely related to Hilbert spaces and Matrix decomposition.
