Economic history
Economic history refers to the study of the development and evolution of economic systems, institutions, and activities throughout history. It encompasses various aspects, including the history of International cooperation, Trade, and Resource management (environmental) practices. The field draws on concepts from Cultural Anthropology and Geological records to understand the complex interactions between human societies and their environments. Economists like Adam Smith and Karl Marx have contributed significantly to the development of economic thought, influencing our understanding of economic history. The study of economic history also involves analyzing the impact of significant events, such as the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event, on the course of human economic development.
