Forensic science
Forensic science is the application of scientific principles and techniques to assist in the investigation of crimes and the administration of justice, often involving the collection and analysis of Evidence from Crime scenes. It encompasses various disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, to analyze physical evidence such as DNA, fingerprints, and other trace materials. Forensic scientists use techniques like Hypothesis testing and Interpretability to draw conclusions from the evidence. The field has been influenced by notable figures like Edmond Locard, known as the "father of forensic science." Forensic science is crucial in Law enforcement and has been instrumental in solving many high-profile cases.
