Gestalt psychology

Gestalt psychology is a school of thought that emerged in the early 20th century, focusing on the organization of visual perception and the way our brains process information. This approach, developed by Max Wertheimer, Kurt Koffka, and Wolfgang Köhler, emphasizes that the whole is more than the sum of its parts, and that our perception of an object or pattern is influenced by the relationships between its individual components. The concept of Gestalt principles, such as proximity, similarity, and continuity, helps explain how we group and organize visual elements. Gestalt psychology has been applied in various fields, including Experimental physics, Art therapy, and User experience design. The principles of Gestalt psychology can also be seen in the structure of Fractal patterns and the organization of Neural networks.
