Hypervisor
A hypervisor is a piece of software that creates and manages Virtual Machines (VMs), allowing multiple operating systems to run on a single physical host machine. This technology enables Resource management and Consistent allocation of system resources, such as CPU and Memory, to each VM. Hypervisors are crucial in Cloud Computing and Data Center environments, where they facilitate International cooperation and Open source development. They also support various Operating Systems, including Ubuntu and Windows, and can be used with Package Managers to manage software installations. Hypervisors can be categorized into two main types: Type 1 (bare-metal) and Type 2 (hosted), each with its own advantages and use cases.
