Immutability
Immutability refers to the state of being unchangeable or invariant, a concept that appears in various fields, including Computer Science, Indian philosophy, and Formal systems. In Computer Science, immutability is a design principle where data structures or objects are designed to remain unchanged once created, ensuring Thread (computing) safety and simplifying Procedures. In Indian philosophy, immutability is associated with the concept of Determinism vs Indeterminism, where the universe is seen as governed by unchanging laws. Immutability also plays a role in Formal systems, where it ensures the consistency and reliability of mathematical models, such as those used in Climate modeling. The concept of immutability is closely related to Isolation (psychological) and Resilience and complexity, as it can provide a sense of stability and predictability in complex systems.
