Mind-body problem
The mind-body problem is a fundamental question in the fields of Philosophy, Neuroscience, and Psychology that concerns the relationship between the Mind and the physical Body. It is a complex and debated issue that has been explored by various thinkers, including René Descartes, who proposed a Dualism approach, suggesting that the mind and body are separate entities. In contrast, Monism posits that the mind and body are ultimately made of the same substance. The mind-body problem is closely related to the concept of Consciousness and the Hard problem of consciousness, which questions why we have subjective experiences at all.
