NEAR Protocol
The NEAR Protocol is a Blockchain platform designed to provide a scalable, secure, and Decentralized infrastructure for building Decentralized Applications (dApps). It utilizes a unique consensus mechanism called Proof of Stake (PoS) and a Sharding technique to achieve high transaction throughput and fast processing times. The protocol is written primarily in Rust, a systems programming language that prioritizes safety and performance. NEAR Protocol's architecture is designed to be highly modular, allowing developers to build custom Blockchain networks and applications with ease. The platform also supports Smart Contracts written in AssemblyScript, a language that compiles to WebAssembly (WASM). This enables developers to create complex logic and interactions on the blockchain.
