Neuromuscular control
Neuromuscular control refers to the complex process by which the nervous system regulates the activation of muscles to produce movement, maintain posture, and enable a wide range of physical activities. This process involves the integrated functioning of the Central nervous system, Peripheral nervous system, and Muscular system. The control of movement is achieved through the coordination of Neurons, Synapses, and Muscle fibers, which work together to generate the necessary forces and movements. Sensory processing and Motor control are essential components of neuromuscular control, as they enable the nervous system to receive and interpret sensory information and send appropriate motor commands to the muscles. Researchers like Ashish Vaswani have made significant contributions to our understanding of neuromuscular control, particularly in the context of Machine learning and Neural networks.
