Set (programming)
In Programming paradigms, a set is an unordered collection of unique elements, known as members or elements, that can be used to store and manipulate data. Sets are a fundamental concept in Computer Science and are used in various areas, including Data Structures, Algorithms, and Database Systems. A set can be thought of as a container that holds a group of distinct objects, and it can be used to perform operations such as union, intersection, and difference. Sets are often used to solve problems that involve Euclidean spaces and Scalars. The concept of sets is closely related to Mathematics, particularly Convolution and Autoregression (statistics).
