Shaders

Shaders are small programs that run on the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to calculate and define the visual appearance of 2D and 3D objects in computer graphics, Video Games, and other graphically intensive applications. They are a crucial component of the Rendering Pipeline, allowing for real-time rendering and simulation of complex scenes. Shaders can be used to create a wide range of effects, from simple Color and Texture mapping to complex Lighting and Physics simulations. The use of shaders has become increasingly popular in various fields, including Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Virtual Reality (VR), and Film production. Programmers and Game Developers use programming languages like C++ and OpenGL to create and optimize shaders.
