Stack-based language
A stack-based language is a type of Programming language that uses a Stack (data structure) to store and manipulate data. This approach is distinct from traditional Register machine architectures, where data is stored in registers. Stack-based languages are often used in Compiler design and Interpreter implementation. The PostScript language is a well-known example of a stack-based language, used primarily for Printing and Graphics. Other examples include Forth and Joy (programming language). Stack-based languages are also related to Visual programming and Neural (artificial) architectures.
