Trigonometry
Trigonometry is the mathematical study of triangles and the relationships between their angles and sides. Born from ancient astronomy and navigation, it explores how the properties of angles connect to magnitudes through sine, cosine, tangent, and other functions.
These functions, which map angles to ratios, form the foundation of analysis and appear everywhere: in GPS calculations, material stress analysis, wave behavior, and even machine learning embeddings. A right triangle with a known angle becomes a proportional key—unlock one piece, and you unlock them all.
Trigonometry bridges discrete geometry and continuous measurement.
