Walk Score

Walk Score is a measure of the walkability of a particular address, neighborhood, or city, taking into account factors such as Distance to amenities, Pedestrian infrastructure, and Population density. It is often used to evaluate the Sustainability and Livability of an area, and is closely related to concepts such as Sustainable Living, Urban planning, and Clustering (urban planning). The Walk Score is typically calculated using a combination of Geographic information system data and Algorithms to assign a score based on the proximity to various amenities such as Public transportation, Parks, and Shopping centers. This score can be used by City planners, Real estate developers, and Individuals to make informed decisions about where to live, work, and invest. By promoting Walkability, cities can reduce their Carbon footprint, improve Air quality, and enhance the overall Quality of life for their residents.
