Autonomy
Autonomy refers to the state of being self-governing, independent, and having the freedom to make decisions without external control. This concept is explored in various fields, including Philosophy, Psychology, and Politics. In the context of Artificial Intelligence, autonomy is a key aspect of Machine Learning and Robotics, where systems can operate independently and make decisions based on their programming and environment. The concept of autonomy is also closely related to Libertarianism and Self-determination, which emphasize individual freedom and autonomy. Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy of self-rule and autonomy played a significant role in India's struggle for independence from Colonialism.
