Direction (geometry)
Direction is a fundamental concept in Geometry, describing the orientation of a Straight line or a Vector (mathematics) in space. It is often represented by an Angle or a Unit vector, which can be used to describe the orientation of an object or a path in a Coordinate system. In The physical world, direction is crucial in understanding Motion and Forces that act upon objects. The concept of direction is also closely related to Orientation (geometry), which describes the arrangement of objects in space. Mathematicians such as Euclid have extensively studied direction and its applications in Geometry and Trigonometry.
