Dmitri Mendeleev
Dmitri Mendeleev was a Russian chemist and inventor, best known for his development of the Periodic Table, a tabular display of the known Chemical Elements organized by their Atomic Number and Electron shells. Born in Tobolsk, Russia, Mendeleev studied at the University of St. Petersburg, where he later became a professor of chemistry. His work on the periodic table led to the prediction of the existence of undiscovered elements, which were later found to match his predictions. Mendeleev's contributions to chemistry also included research on Crystal structure and Molecular arrangements. He was a pioneer in the field of chemistry and received numerous International awards for his work.
