Eclipses
Eclipses are rare and awe-inspiring celestial events in which one Celestial body moves into the shadow of another, often involving the Sun, Moon, and Earth. There are two main types of eclipses: Solar eclipses, which occur when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, and Lunar eclipses, which occur when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon. Eclipses have been a source of fascination and Astronomy throughout history, with many ancient cultures attempting to explain and predict these events using Triangulation (geometry) and other methods. The study of eclipses has also led to a greater understanding of the Parallax and Constant (physics) of celestial bodies.
