Gradient

A gradient is a measure of how a quantity changes as it moves in a specific direction, often used in various fields such as Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. In Mathematics, a gradient is a vector of partial derivatives of a function, used to describe the rate of change of the function in different directions. This concept is closely related to Curvature (geometry) and Tensor Processing. Gradients are also used in Power electronics to describe the change in voltage or current across a component. In Computer Science, gradients are used in Optimized algorithms, such as gradient descent, to minimize or maximize a function.
