The study of groundwater is closely related to Hydrogeology, which involves understanding the movement and quality of groundwater. Groundwater is an important source of Drinking water and is used for Irrigation in Agriculture. Its management is critical to prevent Overexploitation and Pollution, ensuring the long-term sustainability of this vital resource. Groundwater flow is influenced by various factors, including Topography, Geology, and Climate.
