Helpful behavior
Helpful behavior refers to actions taken by individuals to assist others, often driven by a sense of Empathic distress and a desire to promote Social connection. This behavior can be observed in various contexts, including Sustainable Living practices, where individuals work together to reduce their impact on the Atmosphere (physical space) and promote UN Sustainable Development Goals. In Social structure, helpful behavior can be facilitated by Value alignment and a sense of Community, as seen in the Ubuntu philosophy. Vaswani and other researchers have studied the role of Brain activity in Intelligence and Agency, shedding light on the neural mechanisms underlying helpful behavior. By engaging in helpful behavior, individuals can contribute to the greater good and foster a sense of Harmonic series (physics) in their communities.
