Historic preservation
Historic preservation is the practice of protecting and conserving historic buildings, landscapes, and other cultural heritage sites for future generations. This involves a range of activities, including Restoration, Conservation, and Sustainable development, to ensure that these sites are preserved in their original state while also making them accessible to the public. Historic preservation is often carried out by Government agencies, Non-profit organizations, and Community groups, who work together to identify, evaluate, and protect historic sites. The process of historic preservation also involves Cultural assimilation and Decentralization, as local communities take ownership of their cultural heritage. Additionally, historic preservation requires a deep understanding of Architecture, History, and Cultural heritage, as well as the use of specialized tools and techniques, such as 3D rendering and Geometric space analysis.
