Procedural generation
Procedural generation refers to the process of creating content, such as Game environments, Music, or Graphic design elements, using algorithms and mathematical formulas instead of manual creation. This technique allows for the creation of unique and diverse content, such as Life forms or Planetary geographies, without the need for manual intervention. Procedural generation is commonly used in Video game engine development to create Resource distribution systems, Urban infrastructure, and Wayfinding mechanisms. It is also applied in Computational mathematics to model complex systems, such as Climate Adaptation and Particle detection. The use of procedural generation enables the creation of dynamic and interactive systems, such as Data visualization and User Experience design.
