Sea level rise
Sea level rise refers to the increase in the average level of the world's oceans, primarily caused by Climate Zone changes and Ecological limits being exceeded. This phenomenon has significant implications for Non-human life, Where animals live, and human populations, particularly in low-lying areas such as New York. The main drivers of sea level rise are the melting of Cork-like ice sheets and the thermal expansion of seawater as the planet warms due to increasing levels of Greenhouse gases. As the oceans rise, Coastal erosion and Flooding become more frequent, threatening the very existence of some islands and coastal communities. Sustainable transportation and Decolonization (environmental) efforts can help mitigate the effects of sea level rise.
