Sunlight
Sunlight is electromagnetic radiation emitted by the Sun, traveling roughly 93 million miles to Earth in about 8 minutes. It spans the full spectrum from visible light to Ultraviolet radiation and infrared wavelengths, making it the primary energy source for nearly all life on this planet.
Plants capture sunlight through chloroplasts to drive photosynthesis, converting water and carbon dioxide into glucose and chemical energy. This process anchors entire food chains, from Mosses to forests. Pollinators navigate by sunlight; Coral reefs depend on its penetration through ocean water.
