Weather
Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a specific place and time, shaped by atmospheric pressure, temperature gradients, and the movement of air and water. It is the lived reality of climate on human timescales—the rain that falls today, the wind that scatters Flowers, the frost that nips Herbs.
The sun's uneven heating of Earth drives all weather. Energy absorbed at the equator flows toward the poles, creating wind patterns, ocean currents, and wave dynamics. Water evaporates from oceans and soil, condenses into clouds, and returns as precipitation in an endless cycle.
Weather emerges from the interplay of countless factors: solar radiation, planetary rotation, oceanic heat transfer, and the composition of the atmosphere. Humans have long studied these patterns—from ancient farmers reading blooms to modern forecasters analyzing computational models.
Yet weather remains beautifully unpredictable at small scales. It shapes History, determines where Coffee Beans and tea flourish, and reminds us that we inhabit a dynamic, restless world.
