Anthropogenic climate change

The warming of Earth's climate system caused primarily by human activities, especially the emission of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane since industrialization began. When fossil fuels are burned for energy, when Textiles and goods are manufactured, and when forests are cleared, atmospheric CO₂ rises—trapping heat that would otherwise escape to space.

The evidence is overwhelming: global average temperatures have risen roughly 1.1°C since pre-industrial times, ice sheets are melting, sea levels are rising, and extreme weather patterns are intensifying. The mechanism is well-understood physics: Oxygen and Nitrogen are transparent to infrared radiation, but CO₂ and methane absorb it, creating a blanket effect.

This differs from natural Climate variability caused by solar cycles or volcanic eruptions. While Earth's climate has always shifted, the current rate of change is unprecedented in human history and directly traceable to human industrial activity through isotopic proof and historical records.
