Health promotion
Health promotion is the process of enabling people to increase control over, and to improve, their health, which goes beyond focusing on individual behavior towards a wide range of social and environmental interventions. It involves activities aimed at enhancing the overall well-being of individuals and communities, and is closely related to Environmental health, Mental (psychology), and Dietary choices. Health promotion is guided by the principles of Sustainable Living and Helpful behavior, and is often implemented through Community-based initiatives and Public health programs. The concept of health promotion is also linked to Ethnomedicine and Medical illustration, which highlight the importance of cultural sensitivity and effective communication in health care. Furthermore, health promotion is influenced by Belief and Skepticism, as people's perceptions and attitudes towards health can impact their behavior and decision-making.
