Mathematical expressions
A mathematical expression is a finite arrangement of symbols and operations that represents a quantity, relationship, or computation. Expressions form the language through which we translate ideas into precise, manipulable form—the bridge between abstract thought and calculation.
Expressions range from the simple (like 3 + 5) to the intricate (like ∫₀^∞ e^(-x²) dx). They combine constants, variables, functions, and operators following rules of syntax.
