Mechanics

Mechanics is the branch of physics that studies how forces cause motion and rest in objects. It bridges the invisible world of atoms and the visible behavior of everyday things—from rolling balls to orbiting planets.

The field splits into two classical pillars: kinematics (describing motion) and dynamics (explaining why motion happens).
