Rounding
Rounding is the process of replacing a number with a simpler approximation, usually by reducing its precision. It's essential across Data analysis, Scientific software, engineering, and everyday life—whenever exactness matters less than clarity and practicality.
The most common method, round half up, moves 0.5 and above to the next integer. But Mathematics offers alternatives: round half to even (banker's rounding) reduces bias in large datasets, while round down and round up serve specific needs.
