Systems
A system is a set of interconnected elements that work together to achieve a common goal, exhibiting properties that arise from the interactions and relationships between its components, such as Complexity, Emergence, and Self-organization. Systems can be found in various domains, including Biology, Physics, Social theory, and Computer science. In Biology, systems such as Ecological systems and Immune systems consist of interacting components like Photosynthetic organisms and Glial Cells. In Computer science, systems like Event-Driven Architecture and Operating systems rely on Package Manager and Bash. The study of systems is often interdisciplinary, involving fields like Data mining, Regression, and Probabilistic modeling. Oceanographers and Entomological collections also rely on understanding systems to analyze and predict Tides and Soil ecology.
