Turtle
Turtles are a group of reptiles belonging to the order Testudines, characterized by their shell, which is made up of bony plates called Scutes. They have been on the planet for over 220 million years, with fossil records dating back to the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event. Turtles can be found in various habitats, including oceans, seas, and freshwater environments, such as the Aegean Sea, and play a crucial role in Marine Ecology and Resource management (environmental). There are over 360 species of turtles, ranging in size, shape, and behavior, and they are an important part of many Ecosystems. Turtles have a unique shell that protects them from predators, and they are also known for their slow and steady movement.
