Genomics
Genomics is the study of genomes, the complete set of DNA (including all of its genes) in an organism, and involves the analysis of genetic algorithms, epigenetic modifications, and other related concepts. The field of genomics has revolutionized our understanding of Biology, enabling the development of personalized Medicine and advancing our knowledge of Evolution. Genomics relies heavily on Computational power and Algorithm Complexity to analyze and interpret large amounts of Genomic data. The study of Genomics has also led to a greater understanding of Systems and Systems biology, and has applications in fields such as Organic farming and Extremophile research.
